Let yourself be conquered by the simplicity of our vineyards, thanks to the wine tours organized by Feudi di Guagnano, to discover genuine flavors and smells. Try the harvest experience yourself, get to know the winemaking techniques and processes and don’t miss the chance to taste the wine directly “from the source”!
Our Wine Destinations will allow you to discover amazing vineyards and to learn more about the story of Guagnano, the small town where Feudi di Guagnano is located, the legend of the Byzantine fresco depicting the Virgin with her Child strange finding, the Gaudian architecture of the painter Vincent Brunetti’s hermitage. And in September, every year, the unfailing harvest experience, with a tasting of wines taken directly from the barrels.
TOUR IN THE NEGROAMARO LANDS
The name of the company comes from Guagnano, a small town located in the heart of the Negroamaro Lands.
The purpose of this tour is to disclose to the tourists some unknown parts of this territory as well as old and new monuments and the Negroamaro vines.
The winery, which is very close to the historical centre of the town, is the gathering point from where the tour begins. The “alberellos” are just outside the town and after visiting them the route is towards the organic “saved vines” among which there is an antique and circular hand-dug Salento well that is made of Lecce tuff.
After visiting the countryside, the tour continues with the visit to the artistic-existential hermitage where a famous Guagnano painter (Vincent) lives; it will be a way to surprise your eyes and your soul being in front of his wonderful Gaudian-style building and his pictures.
Coming back to the winery, the third stop is at the baroque-rococo church consecrated to Our Lady of the Assumption, where the precious Byzantine fresco of the Virgin Mary with her Child is kept and from which the company logo comes.
At the winery, the leading characters of the tasting will be our wines: 4 of the most important wines of the winery to conclude a really extraordinary experience.

The visits are in Italian, English, Polish. – The visits to the hermitage and to the church are possible only if they are open and accessible.

THE HARVEST OF NEGROAMARO
Have you ever experienced the harvest in your life? Picking the bunches of Negroamaro, smelling the flavours of the juice coming out from the ripe berries is something extraordinary.
Gardening shears and pail in your hands, but also a strong will, and the vines can be reached to begin the harvest along with the workers.
PROGRAMME
The meeting is at the winery, early in the morning or early afternoon (the hour will be communicated two days before) and by your own car, to get the route towards the vineyards in the area of Guagnano.
After about 1 hour we will come back to the winery where the vinification and the ageing processes will be explained; yet, you will have the chance to eat grape and home-made bread, but also to have “La Marenna”, that is a sort of afternoon snack. Everything will be paired to 4 of the most important wines of the winery.
4 people: € 44.00 per person
5-15 people: € 50.00 per person
Minimum 4 people and maximum 15 people ( for a higher number ask the quotation)
The visits are in Italian, English, Polish.
The hire of gardening shears and pail or basket is included in the price; the headgear is for free.
A k-way, latex gloves, old shoes, sunglasses and a product against the mosquitos are recommended.
