The 18th edition of the “Race Terre del Negroamaro”, one of the most interesting running events in all of Puglia organized byABACUS association, FIDAL affiliate. The circuit, unique in its kind, winds largely through the Negroamaro vineyards in the area of Guagnano and Villa Baldassarri in the north of the province of Lecce.
The numerous participants, divided into different categories, ran for almost 10 kilometers (9.6 km to be precise) under the grip of unbearable heat which made the competition extremely difficult and hard-fought.
As has been the case for many years now, the Feudi di Guagnano winery wanted to make its contribution to the event by re-proposing the special prize for the first and first classified at the flying finish line at km 7.5 “installed” outside the cellar in Via Cellino n. 3
The first prize was won by “Feudi di Guagnano”, out of 306 participants Luca Quarta (SM40 category) of the Podistica Magliese e Maria Passaseo (AJPF category) of the ASD N.E.S.T. who confirmed, after just another 2 kilometres, their absolute supremacy at the final finish line.
